Whitegate Leisure Caravan and Camp Site is set in a beautiful rural location and is yet only a forty minute walk to the centre of Holmfirth’s picturesque village. The village is home to a wide variety of shops, cafes and wine bars. The famous Holmfirth Vineyard is a stone’s throw from our site and visitors can reach this in just a 15 minute walk. Guests can also expect to find some of the best views of the Holme Valley right here on site!
We have no doubt if you love the countryside and enjoy walking, cycling or just want to relax in a peaceful setting you will love our location. The famous cycling ‘Route 68′ passes along the bottom of our site and we also have some amazing and well-established walking routes right on our door step.
On site facilities include a toilet and shower block, an outdoor washing-up area, water point and blue waste disposal. We offer pitches with electric hook-up on a field that we have hardcored and then re-surfaced with grass to ensure the look and feel of the countryside is around you at all times. We also have non-electric grass pitches for tents and well behaved dogs are welcome on site and there is Free WIFI for all visitors.

The park is peacefully located adjacent to Wolds farmland and large areas of woodland providing peace and tranquillity, meaning visitors are able to relax amidst wildlife, flora and fauna.
With easy access to East Coast resorts and the historic city of York. There are several public footpaths throughout our farm and neighbouring woodland available for pleasant walks and bike rides. This area of Yorkshire has something for everyone, be it to relax in the beautiful countryside, explore stately homes, abbeys and market towns or to enjoy the sports of horse racing, golf, fishing, or sailing.

During the summer of 2013, Burrows Park undertook major redevelopment work which included improvement to the landscaped areas and the addition of a toilet block including a disabled toilet and shower room and a full bathroom.
