With 67 generously-sized pitches that are a mixture of grass and hard standing, so we can happily accommodate caravans, motorhomes and tents. Overlooking the beautiful Crimple Valley, all pitches have electric hook-up and the convenience of heated washrooms and a laundry room. Free Wifi is available to all guests and we are a dog friendly park, so your four-legged friend needn’t be left behind! Plus, our location means we have some fantastic amenities right on the doorstop, including our award winning farm shop and café, Fodder, Sainsbury’s and a bus stop. Our lovely little camping and caravan site opened in May 2013 and has proved very popular due to the fantastic location and facilities.
Situated in the heart of North Yorkshire, England, we are close to a number of beautiful sites within walking and driving distance and with excellent public transport links close by.
As our reviews have shown, we are ideally situated in beautiful countryside with stunning views from the campsite but with very easy access to villages and towns. Harrogate town centre is just a 5-minute drive or a 35-45 minute walk. Frequent buses pick up at the end of our lane and taxis are widely available. You can leave your car or motorhome and still get about with ease – there is even a local bike hire company.
A secluded family Park situated behind Olde World Village Pub in the heart of Yorkshire midway between the Ancient Cathedral City of Ripon and the cosmopolitan Spa Town of Harrogate. Only 2 miles from Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks, close to Emmerdale and Herriot Country and the Dales. The Caravan Site is open from Easter/April to October. It is attractively situated at the rear of our ‘Olde World’ Country Inn, in the centre of the village of Markington. Sheltered & secluded in a pleasant garden setting. The site is licensed for 75 static caravans with a few Tourers & Tents, set within six acres of land.
Heathfield Caravan Park, family owned and managed, is set in a quiet, unspoilt countryside in a picturesque wooded valley in Upper Nidderdale, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated on the Nidderdale Way with countless scenic walks from the Park & fishing, riding & cycling all available nearby.
Pateley Bridge is only a 5 minute drive or a 30 minute walk away along the stunning river banks of Foster Beck and the River Nidd.
There are several hard standing pitches for tourers and motorhomes around the caravan park and on our designated touring field.
We have pitches in a range of sizes so we are more than likely able to accommodate any size of tourer or motorhome pending availability. All touring pitches are on hard standing, supplied with electric hook up and TV points. We have a selection of pitches with services (water & waste) on pitch or not so far away. Pitches also have either a gravel or flagged patio area for you to sit out and enjoy the lovely views over the valley or put up a awning giving you that extra bit of room.
